The blacksmiths of Ly Nhan

All very quiet and peaceful. But Ly Nhan blacksmith village is anything but quiet. The hammering and grinding is so loud that everyone has to down tools between 11am and 2.30pm, and after 10pm, to give the rest of the inhabitants some peace and quiet. The workshops are dark and dirty places because the smiths use coal to fire furnaces as they make tools like machetes, knives and chisels. The village is renowned for the high quality and beautiful design of its work.
